Today was a beautiful ride full of sunshine and curves and more curves! The scenery was ful of rivers, fjords and country side.
At lunch we stopped at an old Fort in Norway that had never been taken over by Sweden. Once you climbed the hill the view was spectacular. You could see over the city and it was worth the climb (once again!!).
Tonight we arrived at the hotel around 5:30 and were greeted with a destination drink! Local craft beer was a welcome sight in the lobby. Our group picture was taken tonight and everyone was asked to wear their shirts and Viking hats. Again like herding cattle we were all scattered around the bicycle path interfering with the local bikers (not motorcycles). Many of us took the opportunity to take pictures with friends that we have met on the journey.
Supper was delicious and the antics during supper were even better. The famous "duck" awards were handed out and there were a lot of laughs as people were given ducks for their misadventures (some because they were lost, bike broke down or they were left behind). All in good fun and each person is happy to receive a duck even it is because of their misfortune.
Tomorrow we ride to Copenhagen where we have a two night stay!
