Goteborg, Sweden to Copenhagen, Denmark

Today was a cloudy day and a little chilly - but when you are dressed for it you enjoy the ride!  So I was layered up and ready to ride.  Driving past the coast was beautiful.  The roads today were not as full of curves as in Norway but the scenery certainly made up for it.  The farmlands are lush and the coast line was beautiful.

We stopped for a break this morning near the coast and arrived at a little cafe to the delight of the owner who was more than willing to open for such a group of bikers.  Their two little girls were out with their grandfather checking out all the bikes.  They both were looking at my bike and seemed quite interested so I asked if they wanted to sit on it.  Well the look in their eyes was priceless when I allowed them to sit on the bike.  Of course grandpa had to take pictures and then their mother did too.  Perhaps new lady riders in the future.

We then headed to the ferry to make a quick crossing that brought us to Copenhagen.  We were met by the Copenhagen HOG Chapter and were toured through some very beautiful areas with beautiful homes along the coast.  Unfortunately my GoPro battery had died and was unable to take pictures.  Riding through the city and seeing all the beautiful buildings downtown makes me want to go downtown tomorrow.  I am hoping to take the ride out with the Chapter to see more sites.

There were quite a few biker clubs riding through the city as well and at one point we were riding alongside a motorcycle club.  Not sure who they represent and I was unsure of how they liked riding in and out of our group but they didn't seem to mind but took off at every stop light as if they were being chased by the police.  Well so did we but you know how it is - you get bikes together and you want to race from stop light to stop light - or at least make the engine sound like you are!!

Tomorrow another rest day with a ride and tours and hopefully dinner downtown!
